In March 2020, when hearing services clinics were forced to close their in-person clinics, clinicians sought out remote solutions to continue patient care. This sparked the industry trend towards digital and remote care that is prevalent today. Clinicians are using revolutionizing innovations such as online screeners, web-based audiometers, and teleaudiology to reach more people and provide patient-centric, connected care. Online digital audiometry is a relatively new offering. We have identified key considerations and suggested target populations over the past two years of working with this technology that we will be sharing in this session.
