  1. Identify the new ICD-10 codes and those that have been problematic since the transition date.
  2. Name the 2016 PQRS measures and how to successfully report.
  3. List areas of interest and potential in offering hearing and balance services.

Description: The last few years have seen rapid changes in health care and audiology with the advent of the first coding system transition in nearly 40 years, new payment methodologies such as the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), and a shifting landscape in hearing aid delivery. This session will update participants on these changes, considerations to provide hearing and balance services to an expanding aging patient base, and a review of common audiology coding errors.
