  2. Explain to patients how they can learn to live better lives with their tinnitus.
  3. Apply the Ida Tinnitus Tools to provide relevant counselling and build resilience in patients.

Description:

Many hearing care professionals find it challenging to treat tinnitus patients, even though tinnitus is a common symptom. However, clinicians are sometimes the first to see tinnitus patients, therefore they need good counselling skills and the ability to apply a holistic approach to care. This module introduces three new tools to help hearing care professionals structure conversations with patients about their tinnitus, convey a message of hope and provide relevant counselling and coping strategies in appointments.
