Lights, Camera, Action! A Unique Pediatric Rehabilitative Audiology Program (0.1 CEUs)
Recorded: April 6, 2017
Presenters: Amy Kroll, AuD, CCC-A
Duration: 1 hour
Instructional Level: Fundamental
Learner Outcomes: Upon completion, each participant in the eAudiology Web seminar will be able to:
- Analyze children's literature and identify stories that fit into the playgroup template.
- Identify activities, games, and snacks for stories that fit into the playgroup template
- Implement playgroup sessions into practice.
This presentation will share a template for a pediatric rehabilitative audiology program that can be implemented as a multidisciplinary program in a clinic, hospital or school, or as a clinical education opportunity with students in an AuD program. Participants will learn about the program and how the template was applied to a variety of stories. Then they will breakout into small groups to brainstorm and create new story templates.
