Description: Case-based learning (CBL) techniques have been used for many years in medical school clinical education. CBL methods utilize small-group case-based discussion to enhance clinical problem solving skills. This method is being successfully used in our program. CBL encourages students to merge classroom teaching with clinical learning across their educational experience. This presentation outlines the specific methods used for this class. Students from the class will comment on their experiences with this teaching method.
