Presented by Meagan Lewis, AuD

CEUs: 0.1

Instructional Level: Fundamental

As new legislation and over-the-counter devices have changed the hearing aid industry, we must adapt both for our patients and for the profession. This session focuses on the experience of a large academic medical center in the journey to appropriately charge for and itemize services for assistive hearing devices.

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop a plan to appropriately calculate charges for services.
  • Counsel a patient or other professional about the value of service options.
  • Identify serviceable options for patients who do not purchase traditional technology.
